Please pass on thanks from Jen and myself to Alice and Nick for Saturday.  Jen and I had a great time, and everyone I spoke to had nothing but praise for the ceilidh and the band.  I really wanted this to be a birthday that Jen would look back on fondly, and you certainly helped to make that happen. Good afternoon all,

Although a thank you card will be sent out in due course, we just wanted to say now a huge thank you to you all, for giving us quite simply the most wonderful evening reception!!  It will be remembered forever, and although I couldn't join in as much as I would have liked due to dress technical difficulties, it was so much fun and I'll certainly go to more Ceilidhs in future!  All of our guests (even those that didn't dance) have said how much they loved the evening, and there were a few who had some difficulties navigating the stairs the following morning...

So once again, thank you for such an enjoyable evening, we would recommend you to anyone 😊

A huge thank you for the fantastic ceilidh on Saturday evening! Almost no one at the wedding had ever done a ceilidh before, but they all really enjoyed it. In fact, one of my friends got engaged on Thursday and has already planned a ceilidh for his own wedding!  Apologies that we didn’t get a chance to thank you at the wedding, but your band was everything that we hoped for and more!

Thank you so much for a wonderful performance! We all really enjoyed having you and you were brilliant, the caller was excellent and the music  was excellent and we all had such fun, it is difficult to recall the hi lights there were so many! The longest strip the willow we have ever been in , the dashing flying scotch man , etc.  It was so kind of you to play the disco music for so long as well as letting Samuel perform his song , it made a wonderful conclusion to the day!  Thank you so much , please come again ! Just a quick note to say thanks again for last night, you guys were amazing - can’t believe you can get such a big band sound out of three musicians, and often two when you’re on the floor getting everyone organised.  As you could see, everyone was enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.  Most importantly, it raised good money towards the school in Zambia and will make a huge difference to the children there.

Thought I would write to say how much we and our guests enjoyed the Ceilidh at my 50th Birthday Party last Saturday night.  For the vast percentage of guests it was their first experience of a Ceilidh, and they said it was a great event, much better than a standard disco, even the people who did not get actively involved said how much they had enjoyed watching the “dancers”

Hi Glen,

Just wanted to say a big thank you to you, Alice and Nick.  We had never done ceilidh dancing before but couldn't recommend it highly enough especially as the entertainment at weddings.  It got everybody from my 3 year old nephew to his 60 year old grandparents up dancing and enjoying themselves.  It really encouraged everyone to mingle as well.  So many of our guests told us, both on the day and after, how much fun they found the ceilidh dancing to be.  Your quick and detailed responses to emails building up to the big day were really helpful and put us at our ease so we felt like the entertainment was not something we had to worry about.  Nothing was too much trouble for you.  You have now opened up a new world to us and we are going to another ceilidh dance at the end of September.

Just catching up from last weekends wedding followed by a frantic week at opposite ends of the country and finally have the opportunity to reflect on the wedding and party that followed.  Knitters Jig proved to be the perfect entertainers for our little group with something that really appealed to all ages. My teenaged neices report that they had a fantastic time and all the feedback we have received say that it was the best wedding they have ever attended.  That included my 90 year old mother and doesn't say much about my own wedding!  Auld Lang Syne at the end of the evening was a real tear jerker, we really appreciated your kindness in staying on to round off our day so successfully.

THANK YOU!!!!   It is always good when events exceed expectations, and last night was one of those nights.  As you were probably aware, I was unsure as to how my choice of entertainment would be received.  As we all saw, my worries were totally unfounded.  What was completely unexpected, was the amount of people you guys got up dancing, and also that had they been allowed, they would have carried on!  That is unheard of and unique at this "type" of event.  I am sure you have gained a lot of admirers, and would not be surprised to see you there again in the future.  Again many thanks for last night (and especially to Alice who went down a storm!)

We wanted to say a very heartfelt thank you to you, Alice, Dale and Nick for giving us the most spectacular ceilidh at our silver wedding party last Saturday.  We couldn’t believe it when, despite having all just eaten fish and chips, practically all our guests stood up for the first dance -  and most of them kept dancing all night!  We’ve never thrown a party so big (at our wedding we had 60 for a meal!) and you made it very memorable for us and for everyone else.  You have such an infectious sound and style, people just couldn’t help but dance -  even the teenagers!

We are still grinning from ear to ear at the memories -  so thank you once again.

I'm sorry I didn't see you before you left last night.  I wanted to say how pleased we were with the dance.  I've been to quite a few barn and square dances before, but I can genuinely say that this was by far the best we've been to. The way you led the evening was perfect and the music three musicians made was fantastic.  I think that the dance floor was packed all evening was testimony to that.  Please pass on our thanks to the other two members of the group.  You all did a superb job and we are very grateful.  It was the perfect evening and was just what Hannah and Luke wanted and I know they'd want to express their gratitude too.
